In July 2023, OSHA created a National Emphasis Program on Warehouse and Distribution Centers to evaluate high-risk workplaces. Since this program was enacted, over 600 inspections have been conducted by OSHA with nearly $2.5 million in penalties, most of which involve Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
