Frequently Asked Questions:
Why 90% and Not 100% of employees?
As it is our goal to always have 100 percent of our customer's employee records we understand that there are office personnel and administrative staff that sometimes never make it into our database. We also know the nature of the industries we serve and that some positions are a revolving door, therefore we ask that a good effort be made by our customers to keep their employee roster updated within STAC.
Why 67% for OSHA Cards?
Many of our customers work in construction and manufacturing. As the average turnover for those industries is as high as 35%, that makes it very difficult to maintain training and documentation for people who may be there today and gone tomorrow. As STAC assists with that documentation, we keep in mind the average turnover rates and believe 2/3 of employees is an achievable goal for employers.
How Often is this information checked?
Companies who receive or are attempting to receive the STAC Safe Badge are monitored on a quarterly basis allowing for fluctuation of employees.
How does my company receive the stac safe badge?
As a STAC customer, we maintain and verify your employee records. As your company updates their employee rosters and training we can verify if they have an OSHA 10 or 30 Hour card within the system. We run reports on the number of employees within STAC versus your OSHA 300 Log and the number of verifiable OSHA 10 and 30 Hour cards.
